Chi was born in Vietnam where she was a physician’s assistant in a psychiatric hospital in Vietnam. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1996 where she first studied nursing at De Anza College. During her studies she concurrently served as a part-time receptionist in a dental office. She became interested in the dental field while working as a receptionist so she switched her major to dental assisting. Chi graduated in 2002 from Foothill College with an A.S. degree and a dental assisting certificate. She only worked for two years as a dental assistant before ultimately deciding to further her expertise by obtaining her Registered Dental Assist license in 2005.
Chi brings a lot of healthcare experience to the Tooth Spa and has been with us for over nine years. She is really interested in the high-tech aspect of working in the dental field and believes in providing comfort to her patients through advanced care.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, shopping, walking for exercise, watching movies, hanging out with friends, and joking around to make people laugh and be happy. She is a foodie, as her favorite past time is trying out different foods from different cultures all the time. Though she loves to eat, she never neglects to take care of her teeth, always flossing and brushing!
